I'm looking to upgrade the suspension on my Golf, at the moment it is on standard dampers with lowering springs.
I am undecided wheter to go for coilovers or springs damper kit.
My budget is about £500, the ones I am looking at are the FK silverline coilovers or the koni sport spring damper kit.
Does any one run with these on there car and would you recommend them.
What would you recommend and pics would be cool too.
Cheers

Hi, it depends what you want…. Coilovers give you full height adjustment, in summer slammed and winter up a little. Also big improvement on handling.
Suspension kit, great also for handling but only fixed height, if you want it lower in 6 months time its false economy to buy coilovers later on.
I can offer FK Silverlines at very good prices. lowerks.com is not yet finished but all will be there when its running. I run FK Sport edition plus which is a highsport with damping. Pics on facebook. Also the height on facebook has 20mm left up front and 50mm on rear. FK are the lowest you will find really.

Sorry I never got in touch Andrew, I went for a set of Lowtec coilovers in the end.

If you already have lowering springs get a set of Bilstein B8.
