Title: Rear parcel shelf
Post by: keendean on December 06, 2011, 10:07:29 pm
My new Mk V I've had a few weeks only, but the parcel shelf has broke, more specifically the toogle that fixes to the plastic trim has snapped off.
How do you fix this?  Sounds a daft question, what part do you buy, do you need to remove the plastic trim?   :popcornsoda:

at one time TPS sold a repair kit but not anymore :sad1: you now have to buy the complete trim and replace your broken one, i can double check tomorrow for you but i think the trim is about £40

I don't know if this is the same problem but i've broke the little plastic thing that sticks out on the C Pillar for the little string on the parcel shelf to attach to.. Is there any way to fix/replace this?

Cheers, do you know if that kit is actually still available and what it means doing to the car?
