Where abouts TC?
At our school in Blackpool were estimated to be closed possibly tomorrow or the start of next weeks, Were on the coast so estimate by 3PM 70+ MPH winds!
Kind of used to it now lived here all my life, the poor car must get battered though!

It's scary knowing my work office is currently under the tallest crane in the UK right now! Plus it;s too windy to take it down, at a cost of £17,000 for removal of the crane is quite a hefty thing! To be fair these pictures don't do the height of it justice, but were told it's the biggest that can be rented!

This picture was taken on the 3rd story of the building and still not even halfway up the crane! Good job the thing is cemented and bolted in the middle of the building site!

Very windy and wet down on the south coast but nothing like as bad as for you guys.
I gotta drive north to Nottingham this weekend - Hope it'll be clear of snow n ice!

Mega bad here in central scotland, everyone has been sent home from work !(apart from me)
Ive got about 10 tiles from the roof in the garden, so ill need to find somewhere else to park the car tonight !

Coming home today was fun. All day, it's been a light drizzls and then as soon as I head off home, full blast wind and rain. Too much to drain off so there was lots of surface water. Not as bad as some of you though.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^About sums up most of the fishing trip - Flamborough head in late November - the waves were so big the boat following us easily disappeared into the troughs each time.

I'm offshore too. On a semi submersible. Was an interesting night's sleep!!

We had not too bad of a night, high tides broke some of the sea wall but funnily enough just the part that hasn't finished (4 years of building better protection has finally paid of) but he had strong winds up to 86mph though!
