Title: Whats this worth?

Might seem like a stupid question this but i'll ask anyway, l picked up a Mk 5 GTi 3Dr in Tornado Red 06/55 with 61k FSH(Not all VAG), Monza II 18" wheels, 6CD and Interlagos Interior, a really nice car but as always an R32 has come up from a friend and l really want it l know l won't get what l paid for it but whats a reasonable figure to expect?

As someone who has recently purchased a GTI I have a pretty good handle on current prices as I have spent many hours looking at vehicles on AutoTrader and PistonHeads...

I would say based on your description, and assuming your GTI is immaculate, that you can expect around £7300 for your car as a private sale.

But then again it's all down to how quick you wanna sell it and more importantly what someone is willing to pay :smiley:

Depresses me knowing I got my car a year ago tomorrow and it cost me just short of 10K and wasn't even specked well at all! Now i can get something with lower mileage, between specced on the web for £7-8k!!

Thanks for that chaps, the car is really nice and to be fair i'm willing to take a hit on it, l paid £7500 for it but would let it go for £7 as the deal i've been offered is great and don't want to miss it!
