Title: Im booked in for stage 2 :)
Post by: Dan648v on December 11, 2011, 06:15:00 pm

After collecting some parts and many emails between me and my tuner I'm now booked in for stage 2 revo on 21st dec! :happy2:

Cars a 07 ed30 manual fitted with a VWracing tbe and Neuspeed p-flo induction kit!!

Can't wait to get it tuned, the golfs good but from coming to it from a 400bhp evo 6 I felt it was lagging some oomph!

So Im going to RDT in Doncaster to see Will Hincliffe for my tuning, and after seeing virtually nothing on the forum about him or his company im going to be doing a full write up on him with pics and graphs to show what his companies capable of! I think some of you could get some use out of him in the north for your revo needs, but as they say the proof is in the pudding and I'll be posting my results!

Will is a good guy, has a dynapack hub dyno which will allow him to get your car set up perfectly.

Will is defo a good knowledgable guy!

Had a high comp ek9 civic a few years back and he tuned that to 190whp! I know I'm in good hands and deck happy to know it's gonna be setup on the dyno instead of the road (I've had bad experiences with road mapping in the past)

Any ideas as to what figures you are gonna make?

To be honest I have no clue! Honestly looking for a true 300/300, and with him having a hub mounting dyno it's going to very accurate figures! I know alot of the figures on here that get thrown around are from generous dynos so we'll see I guess.

Yeah I've seen the civic :)

It's an animal, same import civic I had when he tuned mine, he was taking out the 1600 and replacing it with his 1800cc engine at the time, which I now believe is tuned to 402whp  :jumping: I'll get some pics when I'm there for you all!

My god you are going to notice the difference, enjoy!   :santa:

I hope so!  :xmaspresent:

No downer at all, budgeted/expecting a clutch  :drinking:

Any idea what the std clutch can take torque wise? And what's the usual clutch people choose for tuned golfs? Stage 1,2,2+
