Hi guys,
Iv bought some 15 inch steelies for the golf for some winter tyres. My current wheel bolts are tapered and im not sure they will fit. I think the bolts I need are WHT002437 (http://www.jimellisvwparts.com/products/Wheel-bolt/5250861/WHT002437.html) which are m14 x 1.5 x 27mm. VW are wanting £52 for 16 bolts which is mental! Can anyone confirm if i need tapered bolts or round ended bolts?
These are my wheels:

The ones I've been looking at on ebay are these:

If i need the round headed bolts, i presume these locking nuts will be ok?

Cheers guys!

If they are oem steels then iirc VW only use radius seat bolts on all wheels, M14x1.5 and 27mm long is standard size so any you come across like that should do the trick :happy2:

Check your steel spacesaver and see if that's the same as your steelies. Should be ok to use original bolts if the seats are the same I guess.

Think these are them! The seat and skoda ones are £3 cheaper than the VW ones, even though they are the same :stupid:
Thanks for your help

Totally digressing, but what car do you drive Joe?

Doh, you got a thank instead of a quote...... I only asked due to the size of the wheel, as a 15" won't fit over the GTi discs (I don't think). :happy2:

Thanks for that :xmassmiley: season of good will and all that!! You are correct about the GTI brakes but mine are 288mm so fit, just about!

I've also got 15" steelies with 288mm discs. They fit - very, very snuggly though!
