Title: Which wash mitt?
Post by: Sug on December 14, 2011, 07:34:31 pm
Been looking on eBay and other sites for a wash mitt and there's that many
Can someone recommend a good one? Or if there something better feel free to point me in the right direction.

Thanks

I loved my Yeti's fist. I've now switched to a zymol sponge.

Me too. First one I bought started to fall apart after one wash, but was replaced for free. The replacement seems to be fine after several uses. They didn't want the faulty one back so I use it for the "dirty" bits.

But saying that if I can get over my dislike of Dodo products I may try a short hair wookie fist after christmas.

Tried plenty, but by far and away the best I have used so far is the £7.99 Halfords Lambswool mitt. It's grey with a black wrist band. I bought two around 4 months ago as most mitts I have owned have only lasted a couple of months before either falling apart of discolouring. This one is still going strong so haven't touched one of them!  :happy2:

I agree with Greeners.  I do like the CQuartz one too though, but they are £17 each!

I also use teh Meguiars Lambswool Wash Mitt. Great mitt and easy to look after as it was my first mitt.

Have seen the Dodo Juice - ones and they do look good. Will stick with this one for now.

How long do your mitts last for btw?

The Halfords one has so far outlasted any other Mitt I have used by at least 3x!

I have used this since I got my GTI a year ago. Bought 2 of them and both are still going strong :happy2:
