Post by: jaycue2u on December 14, 2011, 08:13:45 pm
Ok iv had the car for a while now and have had a Revo stage 1 map put on it, but what do i do now for a few extra ponies? Im assuming CAI, DP & exhaust, but is there anything else i should be looking at or consider?

Hi, if you do what you've suggested you should then be able to get a stage two remap which from my research you should then see around 320 bhp, if you were to change the fuel pump internals you could then go to stage 2 plus which i believe is good for around 340bhp next would be an upgraded intercooler. that should keep you busy for now

I assume your talking about an edition 30? Will need to be a KO4 car to see that sort of power.

how much money do you want to spend how much power do you want?

Those mods + hpfp will get you stage 2+ 270-280bhp

How much would a HPFP set me back including fitting? What sort of money is the upgrade from stage 1 - stage 2? I would be more than happy with that sort of power, whats the expected torque when running that? WOuld i need to start looking at clutches?

hpfp is either £300 for internals or £700 for an apr pump.

fitting is about £50

usually going from stage 1 to 2/2+ is about £50 i think

torque 300ft lb

I dont think you will need to worry about clutch, but i have a dsg box so i wont need to.

stage 2 is just a dp and a map

stage2+ you need more, some people like to have a FMIC too, deffo bigger brakes, a torque arm insert and WALK
