Post by: Bikerz on December 15, 2011, 12:30:30 pm
Hi all.

I brought her in October 2011, 56 plater with 66k on the clock. She came with only 1 key, no history and a fair few problems.

The modifications are:

R32 OEM Headlights
R32 OEM 18x8" Wheels in 225/40/18
R32 Mirrors
R32 Front Bumper
R32 Rear Bumper
R32 Spoiler
R32 Skirts
Custom Exhaust (poor) - Will be sorted at xmas
Tinted Rear Windows

Pics as she stands the day I got her

1st November 2011 I decided to take some care of her. She got a oil and filter change along with a cambelt kit including water pump from my friends at TRD (www.turnerracingdevelopments), cant recommend them enough!

I am currently changing the crap ballasts that the previous owner put on the car to OEM ones.
Here is the current state of the wiring:

I have booked her into my local body shop on the 18th for a complete lower respray and some fettling, the following week me and my mate will wrap the top half in carbon.

Interesting car, think i would be a bit worried about the lack of history.

Hopefully it wont cause too many problems for you.

I was well aware of it. Hasn't bothered me. Im doing Motorsport engineering at uni, giving her a full service now and the boys at TRD are happy with her.

Thats the plan. Shes only a daily so wont spend much on her, just keep her usable (500+bhp Audi TT toy). I have put this is members rides where I should have before. Sorry.

Looks good

All you need is a good project to while away your weekends... I much prefer it in summer tho, winter sucks when it comes to mods  :sad1:
