Not appearing as an update if you already have iOS 5.0.1 which means a full restore

I'd be surprised if it was that. They've never done that before and just waited for the next update.

If it genuinely fixed things, id bet they would release a new OS update. Im betting that this is a fix for new markets.

Anyone installed yet? Tempted to backup, full restore from ipsw then restore phone from my backup. If i can be bothered. Desperately need 5.1 though TBH to fix my shocking battery.

I have been having problems with signal over the last week and have been advised to update to version 9A406.

Yep I had that and the new version solved it for me.

I'm running 5.1 Beta 3 now and that's very stable and battery seems to be better too.

The nerds could tell you, but then they'd have to attempt to beat you to death with their iPads!

This is the software I'm using I my 4s. Not had a single problem with it yet and the battery is much better than my previous 3GS.

Had to go back to my 3G while waiting for a replacment. What a come down makes you realise how good the 4s is, except for the signal !!  :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:
