Title: New Jetta 2.0 Tsi DSG owner
Post by: Squeeguk on December 18, 2011, 04:39:39 pm
Hi All

With doing more miles than before and after selling my E46 M3 SMG a few months ago, I started looking for an oil burner Passat or Jetta. I however ended up with a black 2008 VW Jetta 2.0 TFSi DSG with loads of options, including Xenon's and only 10k miles. Just couldn't say no with that sort of mileage and condition. The car looks like it just drove out the showroom. So, my 12th VW will be joining our family next Friday.

Planning on doing a few things such as adding BT (a must in my book), changing the Nav to something more current and adding a MFSW with DSG paddles. Other than that, going to try and keep it as standard as possible for now. Looking forward to any advice and help you guys can provide.

Cheers

Squeeg

Cheers mate. To be honest, I far prefer sedans to hatchbacks, hence my weakness for the Jetta. :happy2:

Sounds like a nice motor that. I couldn't decide about the DSG so got a manual Tfsi and I do like it!

Am really liking the smoothness of the DSG and the engine, they seem to be matched very well. I got spoilt with the M and then also driving the wife's auto around. The DSG is so much smoother and responsive than a normal slush box.

I have now added some pics under the members rides section.
