I'm a long time aircooled fan and hoping to get into some watercooled machinery for a daily over the next few weeks. Looking at either a 1.8T Beetle or similar Golf Mk.4. Have had a good few w'c VW's before, my first car 15 years ago being a *mint* Mk.2 Golf Driver (its always the first cars you miss the most) and have since had quite a few of the range but nothing newer than my Mk.3 Gti (8v).

Looks a great forum with loads of info, hope I can contribute too!

Hi and welcome Kaferboy, there are a few aircooled fans over here, Ive had a few Bugs and even a moneypit splitty. :santa:
