Hi first of all...

My name be Steve, I is 23 years young and has a GTI Edition 30 init? Can you all tell im from Bradford haha

Enough with the chav talk. I have had the car since new, bought it back in July of 2008 and had a few bad run ins with it so far.

Previous car was a 2006 Astra Sporthatch and never kerbed an alloy or clipped any wing mirrors in the 2 years of ownership. So far since ive had the VDub the drivers wing mirror was clipped in the first hour of ownership (damn bus) then I had some old bloke in a 206 pull into the fast overtaking lane and clip the passenger mirror and not to mention having a new engine after 4000 miles. Someone has also attempted to steal it aswel (barstewards). Dad clipped it on the gate aswel the toby (few tiny light scratches to the front bumper).

Also managed to kerb the same rear alloy 3 times  :scared:

To top it off I am currently 6 weeks into a 10 week ban for being a naughty boy on the M606. Oh and im ill at the moment.

Have contemplated selling it in the past and so glad I havent, anyway im looking forward to getting back on the roads as the car is collecting dust and scratches from people brushing past it and will try get myself to some meets.

Yeah definately need to get to a meet sometime. Finally got over to this forum as not much was going on on'tother (1 for the Yorkshire folk there lol) forum.

Cant wait to get back driving and going to get the 5 hour revo trial as soon as  :jumping:

Started leaking oil when it had warmed up and also mentioned the way I was driving it as he could tell from needing new tires after 4k :signLOL:

On another note can I get new centre caps on warranty they all seem buggered, not quite sure its white worm as its thicker and more bubbled up white marks on them.
