So whats happening to your motor in 2012?
Have got but to go on -
RNS 510, Monza Shadows, S3 rear brakes, NGK 8 plugs
Wishlist -
Xenons, Reversing Camera, Blutooth prep, armrest/i pod connectivity, R1R's, K04 Turbo Discharge Pipe
-
My MK5 wish list is one that works and isn't continually throwing up fault codes. Or I'll sell it!
-
Still..
Revo, Diff, carbon bonnet, Forge catch can, New set wheels & R1Rs, highline + polar, lexan rear screen.
Then I think she will be complete :rolleye: :driver:
-
Too much to list... Lol.
-
2012 Wish List
Paint and fit Votex Front Valance and Roof Spoiler
Fit GTI Steering Wheel
BBS VZ's in Gunmetal
Powdercoated 312mm Calipers
Window Tints (Light)
Possibly a new turbo (hybrid)
Uprated Clutch
Rear GTI Brakes Calipers and Discs
Rear Braided Hoses
EBC GreenStuff Front Brake Pads
Fit Leater Door Cards
I'm not needing much... ... :rolleye:
-
My 2012 wishlist consists of:
Xenons, RNS510, Remap and DPF removal, R32 rear bumper, Eibach Sportlines, GTI MFSW + highline clocks and a few other cosmetic additions.
-
Still..
Revo, Diff, carbon bonnet, Forge catch can, New set wheels & R1Rs, highline + polar, lexan rear screen.
Then I think she will be complete :rolleye: :driver:
is there any point having highline if you dont have the MFSW? I like my flat bottomed steering wheel and would not swap it for a MFSW round one you see. What does the "polar" aspect consist of Mike? Might also go for catch can but decided to just stick the PCV fix on.
-
Fill in stone chips and denib them, plus machine correction. Refurb the rims.
Anything else is a Bonus.

I do have MFSW? Also looking at newer flat bottomed MFSW from facelift Cupra R. RichN does the Polar units, it adds much more information to highline. There's a decent thread on them

My 2012 list consits of:

-
My 2012 wish list consists of......

2 - Stage 2 map
3 - Maybe lower it a touch
3 - Sell all my extra parts I have lying around

I'm a newbie to the forum (with a standard car) but mods desired (and being planned!) are in three sections - not all in 2012 unless there is a lottery win :xmaspresent:;
No1
KW DDC Coilovers ( (depending on price when they are available for Mk5) (the ones that can be switched electronically)
Whiteline Anti lift kit
K&N Panel Filter
No2
Later DV
Sports cat
Intake - ITG Maxogen or Forge TwinTake (if money allows)
then Stage 1
No3
Rest of exhaust
Bodywork corrected
Paddleshift added to steering wheel
Either way the car will keep looking standard :innocent: :rolleye:
-
Reversing camera.
Bluetooth
Cruise control
Bluefin
Monza shadows or Glendale smoked
Milltek
-
Well bit of a long shopping list for me.
1. Replace all window switches and master switch, either normal black or chrome. Havent decided yet.
2. Replace parcel shelf as mine is broken.
3. Removal kenwood DDX 7025 touch screen/satnav stero, Kenwood AMP and DVD player ( under front seat) and replace with either RCD510 or RNS 510.
4. Fit ipod dock in armrest.
5. Fit 3d boot handle.
Thats about it really.
-
To find a mkv that has the options I'm looking for at a steal price :drinking:
I'll think about mods after I've bought and be sure to let you all know :)
You're all so lucky to have the car you want!
