Title: Scirocco r 'shark fin' antenna

Will one of these fit on a mk5? Has anyone done this mod? Also what have people done to make their ariels look a bit better?

It should fit, but the shark fin is really only for the sat nav, you may still need a main aerial to pick up a good radio signal.  Swmbo's GT has a shark fin but I think the radio aerial is in the heated rear screen.  On the vRS I have tried the Sharan stubby aerial, reception was pants, so I went a bit bigger and fitted the Polo not quite so stubby aerial, reception improved but still not acceptable for me, so I refitted the OE one.  If you fancy trying the Sharan aerial, I think I still have mine if you don't mind spending a couple of quid to cover p+p it's yours.   :happy2:
