Title: Black smoke on hard acceleration
Post by: bindinbear on December 26, 2011, 10:16:51 pm
Noticed my ed30 dsg on kickdown say goin down three gears in auto mode causes a lot of what looks like unburnt fuel smoke in black. Is that normal?? Was guessing that the timing can't alter quick enough so it just throws it out the exhaust. It's done 17k and always run on super unleaded. Any ideas, I'm worried :sad1:

Is it a puff of smoke or is it more continuous? Mine did it on a rolling road but only a quick puff
