Title: Rear Brakes

Need some recomendations on aftermarket rear pads and disk please, just the standard 286mm

Wouldn't have thought uprating the rear brakes would make much difference tbh, could be wrong tho. But I'd say ADL discs or similar would be good with ferodo pads, both can be bought from a motor factors

well my rears need doing so was just woundering what would be better to use than OE

Mine need doing as well, the rears only do about 25% of braking so I don't think drilled and grooved is worth it, I'm tempted to get mine from gsf bosch discs and pads have done great on the oh's golf so I might try them

OEM discs or any aftermarket ones with a decent carbon content in the steel (SBS, Bremtech etc) and a 'fast road' pad such as Hawk HPS is a good combo without breaking the bank  :smiley:

Try www.nextdaybrakes.com you can get some brembo discs at a good price I have them front and rear and I think they are great value. A lot cheaper than you think.
