Title: Which rubber.....

Hi all

its that time of year again and i'm due for renewal of all four tyres.... tyre size is 245/45/17 - vw classix's


what tyres are people recommending? at the moment got dunlop sport max's fitted and theres a fair amount of road noise - so much so that people have commented to ask if my wheel bearing are alright! (which led to me getting all my wheel bearings checked and all my alloys checked to make sure i didnt have any eggy-shaped ones!-all were fine!)

do mainly motorway mileage so need something durable....

what do you recommend folks....

There is a thread only a few posts down from this talking about the same thing.
Seems the general concensous is Continental.

I've got Pirelli's and I'm very happy with them.

I'm guessing you mean 225 width?
