Title: Forge diverter
Post by: RS6BRIT on December 31, 2011, 02:17:17 pm
Can the forge diverter be installed to run vacum operation only, ie without the n75 style valve plumbed in line ? I only ask as ive fitted my Forge DV but it sounds a bit fluttery and my wife hates it. I wondered if i install it in the traditional way if it might be a little less fluttery during light throttle use ?

Dont worry, the guy i got it from attached a piece of black silicone vac line with a small valve on it. I assumed that this was meant to go inline between the vac take off and the n75. It wasnt, it was a one way valve that meant that the n7f only saw boost and no vac, and this lead to the flutter (like waste gate chatter) that i was getting. All sorted now though.

Trust me, its as annoying as sh*t after 5 mins. I couldn't even do the lightest of throttle without the chatter. Only does it now on full chat gear changes, its actually quieter that the stocker. :happy2:
