Title: What makes black parking sensors black ?
Post by: mad_pete on January 01, 2012, 07:25:55 pm
I've got factory fit parking sensors on my car, however 3 are black and one is white.  Judging by the bulge in the boot floor I guess this might be where the previous owner impaled it on a fence post.  Are the factory ones painted or is there a black cover that can go on ? I'd like all the parking sensors to match.

There painted, but I think you need to watch the little gap around the face of sensor or I can cause problems...may be wrong tho

They come from the factory black and need painting. They were propably replaced without painting them or they are second hand from a black car  :happy2:

Mine's pearl black. Is it safe enough to go to a body shop and ask them to throw some paint on it ?
