Title: Red GTi rear badge
Post by: Phil Mcavity on April 18, 2009, 09:18:23 pm: Seen one today and think it will look fab on my Red Ed. Anyone direct me to best/easiest place to get one.

Post by: Hurdy on April 20, 2009, 07:50:35 pm: Get a full red GTI badge from VW as they are better quality than most of the Ebay stuuf. Most are just vinyl plastic for the red and fade quickly. Some of them you can even see that the plastic red bit isn't on straight :scared:

Yep, thats the front I've got but can only be imported from the States and are a tad on the pricey side! :surprised:

Post by: Phil Mcavity on April 24, 2009, 08:16:28 pm: just received and shoved them on, done front and Back all for the price of Ã‚Â£2.47 a badge. Managed to remove the old badges without even dislodging the sticky pads with the wife's hairdryer.
I like the front but not sure on the rear?.

For a couple of quid, it might be worth ruining one and playing around with the colour of the vinyl? Carefully pick it out, have some copied and try something like black??

I like the DSG badge shaun!, GTi owners know what is it :wink:, and it always gets attention when i get asked by alot of admiring people stop and ask about the car. :smiley:
