just been quoted £650 /£ 618 from two steelers for 4 year service major cam belt water pump just checking if this is good or bad waiting on an indie for price
-
sounds not bad for main dealers probly on the fixed price service plan but you could probly get it done at a specialist for cheaper its all about how much you want that stamp in your book really
-
Got my local dealer to price match the quote from a local indie and had the same work as you carried for £479
-
I paid £399 for cambelt + water pump and £249 for major service from VW on their fixed price menu so souns right
-
I go to a VW specialist, they charged me £300 for cambelt, tensioners and water pump and roughly about £170 for major service but thats a MK5 GT TDI
-
Got a quote from an indie 530 they said 600 I told them vw could do it for ithat price they came back with 530 so I'm going with that vw Audi specialist
