Having these crazy thoughts but hypothetically speaking would the 3.0 engine from the B8 Audi S4 fit and work in a MKV golf.

I'd love to see it done.

I know there is a guy that runs a turbo'd R36 engine in a MK4 so I'm thinking it shoukd fit.

And before anyone says just supercharge an R32, I like the OEM idea of just using a standard VAG engine not one that was designed as NA then added with a charger later.

I know of a 3.6 from a Toureg with a turbo in a Mk4 but not an R36 with a charger in a Mk4.

As for the S4 lump in a Mk5 I don't think so as it's longitudinal for a start.  :smiley:
