Absolutely sick to the stomach this morning. After being ill with tonsillitis the past few days I then come out to find someone has messed with my motor down the offside wing and door.
It does catch my fingernail just about and I have an arsenal of detailing equipment that will mask the damage.
Youts of today need a good kick up the arse. Grrrr
-
Scum, that's all I can say. Have you reported it? Chances are nothing will come of it but at least you'll have alerted them.
In the summer, 30 cars in my area got keyed including both ours on the drive.
Cost me a bonnet respray.
I put up a floodlight camera (Guardcam) in case it happens again.
-
A kick up the ass you say ????
More like a good Birching......
Hope you get the car sorted mate.
-
Reported to the police. Only because I wanted to ensure that if this happened to anyone else last night that they would know they were not alone.
-
Feel sorry for you pal :-(
It's a senseless crime and done out of pure jealousy.
-
Makes me feel sick and angry when I read this. I feel for you. It's horrible.
Last Sunday, a senseless idiot squeeze parked his Peugeot 206 rust bucket between my car and a Porsche. His front bumper was touching my rear one and there was a one inch gap between the 206 and the Porsche. How he got in was a miracle. It was an even bigger one that neither my Golf nor the Porsche were marked or damaged. He must have bump-parked like there was no tomorrow.
I confronted him and he laughed at me saying, ''Serves you right for buying a decent car and worrying about it. It's only a bloody car. Get over it''.
I was livid and walked away without saying anything to the guttersnipe.

The thought had crossed my mind. My neighbours told him off as they too are fed up with him. I just wish he would leave our nice street clad in a wooden suit.

Scum, I don't think I could have kept my cool if he'd said that to me. Probably a lazy benefits walla. He'll say that to the wrong person one day and get his arse kicked.

MPS:
That he is and worse. How he affords to live in this area where a 1 bedroom flat starts at half a million is quite amazing.
We had a meeting yesterday and have decided to inform the Council and Police if it happens again. Fat lot of good it will do.
Now the cheeky SOB parks right in front of my house. They should have killed his mother at birth. I am still pretty upset about the whole incident.
-
I feel for u mate I had my last car done every panel except bonnet and front wings I felt sick for days police didn't care at all and I ended up £1000 out of pocket
-
I had my car a day! drove it home parked up. woke up in the morning to look at my new pride and joy and some sh*t bag had run a key down passenger rear door.
-
Makes me sick when I hear cases like this. My car was done nearly 2 years ago. My last car got done 3x times, twice in a fortnight. I don't bother fixing it now as it is a case of when and not if.
-
I hate reading about this, really annoys me. People jut have no resect anymore and need to be shot, I've got a squiggle down my bonnet that some nob decided to do. The others are from cats that are just as bad but that's another topic.

If its been built within the last 10years 10% of a development has to be for council/social housing. Someone near me spent half a million on a five bed house and te 2next door were empty a year later he found out they are for council and has a family with 7kids moving in next door, he wasn't best pleased

This is exactly the problem. Housing association mixed into residential estates.
I don't suspect it can be anyone else.
It's a horrible frame of mind to have but it can't be far from the truth.

What is the world coming to? Scum!
I remember when i used to walk past a nice car and think to myself "one day" but now it seems that pepople seem to think if I can't have one why should they? And take it upon themselves to vandalise other people's joy?
I was walking through London underground the other week (NYE) and there were some pissed up teenagers fooling around.....a few blokes who worked there looked at them and said "that's our future right there" that got me thinking :fighting:
-
So sorry to hear about that mate,my BMW was parked up in the town centre and some waste of life keyed it all down one side,he must have thought he can afford to get it repaired,it cost me £650 to get it sorted and it was money I had to waste on a repair because people have the sick mentality 'that I can't have that so I ain't gonna let him enjoy it either',if I could get my hand's on them I would gladly smash there head's through my own windscreen, make's me sick. :fighting:
-
So sorry to hear about your car, and the sick, jealous, resentful behaviour carried out by this idiot.
We live in a sad world when people are too idle to get off their butts and earn nice things, but at the same time don't want others to enjoy the fruits of their labour.
:sad1:

I feel for you, I've had it done to me three times.
And had three mirrors ripped/kicked off.
It makes me sick.

Good News!!!!!!
Been locked in the dungeon with it since 7pm.
Hit it with a Rotary, Various spot pads and Menzerna Polishes.
Broke out the 2500 and 3000grit and grew a massive pair of balls.
Flatted it back as much as I dared and brought it back with polishing pads and compounds.
Good news is that it doesn't look more than a big scratch from a bush. Still not finished but I'm not 100% well so will have another go soon enough.
On the flip side I've never wet sanded more than a paint chip before and this was a massive experience/benefit.

As in Pulp fiction "it would almost be worth them doing it so I could catch them doing it....."
