Title: Day off work (fishing and MK2 pics)

Well as i had today off work and so did my dad we went carp fishing for the day. got there around half 6. had a great day even though we didnt catch anything and also managed to get a tan due to it being so hot :)

not bad for a car thats 19 years old ay ;)

it's cars like yours that makes me crave a MK2  :happy2:

Stunning Newey!, that 1st pic is one of the best quality photo's ive seen on any forum mate. That is Top Draw! :drinking:

trust me when i say you NEED one in your life!!! still needs a bit of a tidying up here and there before im 100% happy with it. im at about 95% at the moment.

cheers i was pretty pleased with it myself. only thing its missing are the rods :(

Great car - I used to visit B R Motorsport regularly 10 - 15 years ago... a fantastic outfit and Brian Ricketts was a VW/Audi genius.

Personally I'd lose the aero wipers - they just look too modern for the car IMO, and ETTO of course. Loving the VW Motorsport grille badge though.

cheers it used to have all its work done there back in the day. it now has all its bits done at tsr down at bridgewater. as for the aero wipers they look much better in person :)

all pictures were taken at kingsbury waterpark which is just up the road from me.

thanks for all the comments...

as we have had the car from near enough new she used to get all her stuff done there. i dont think B.R motorsport trade anymore though. but it used to spend many days up in the workshop before they closed.
