My cars going into the bodyshop in a few weeks for new bumper and headlights! So whilst the headlights are out i fiquerd id replace all the bulbs in them. Now im just wondering which people recommend, ive used loads of differant bulbs White look/Xenon look etc etc in my previous Mk4 and despite the prices varying i couldnt really tell a differance in any of them! Just wondering which you guys run and recommend. :stupid:

I had some Osram Nightbreakers in my old MK5 GTi and they were a definite improvement over the stock bulbs, no fancy xenon look or anything but definitely a better light output :happy2:
-
a few people have recommend mtec bulbs, can find them on ebay. Nice bright white light, not bad price either, approx 11 quid iirc

I put some Halfords Ultra Brilliance in as main beam and you can really see the difference.
Don't know how long they will last but they were dead easy to change so not a huge problem.

I'm rocking these in the Kangoo and they are MUCH better than the original french candles the factory put in :happy2:

Another vote for Philips Xtreme Power - I definitely believe their claim of +100% increase in light output

Do we have a forum discount set up for PowerBulbs.com ?

Try AYSCX1729
Also apparently they have an ebay shop which is cheaper than their store.

I got them. Look great over standard. More white light, kinda like xenon look.
