Post by: Simpy on January 12, 2012, 06:56:53 pm
My cars going into the bodyshop in a few weeks for new bumper and headlights! So whilst the headlights are out i fiquerd id replace all the bulbs in them. Now im just wondering which people recommend, ive used loads of differant bulbs White look/Xenon look etc etc in my previous Mk4 and despite the prices varying i couldnt really tell a differance in any of them! Just wondering which you guys run and recommend.  :stupid:

I had some Osram Nightbreakers in my old MK5 GTi and they were a definite improvement over the stock bulbs, no fancy xenon look or anything but definitely a better light output  :happy2:

I put some Halfords Ultra Brilliance in as main beam and you can really see the difference.
Don't know how long they will last but they were dead easy to change so not a huge problem.

I'm rocking these in the Kangoo and they are MUCH better than the original french candles the factory put in  :happy2:
