Mike,

If no one replies i will get this for you when i get home later. May be Sat morning.

I think i know which part you mean but can you post a pic of it as if it's the one im thinking it's about £25 but comes as a complete kit.

Thanks very much Carl.  Forge are sending me a couple of 6 and 8mm vac hose cut offs but I measure it as 7mm.
Will probably put me on but I want the oem bit on for piece of mind

No bother Carl, I know you had to have a go on your pipe before bed etc  :P

Pic shows what I had before. Whatever was there originally was butchered to insert a vacuum takeoff.

The vac hose John sent me was 8mm i.d but the manifold 'outlet' is larger than that so I reckon I need the oem bit

Are you referring to the pipe that goes to the dome shaped piece that is touching the ITG intake hose?

EDIT - Found the correct part.

This is the correct part

(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Fww275%2FTaufe%2FScreenShot2012-01-14at115503.png&hash=bdefaa3b44371d13ec757123c982cb245548bde3)

Part No & Cost (knew it was about £25)

(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Fww275%2FTaufe%2FScreenShot2012-01-14at115240.png&hash=021713e0cccfddd318e536c05b11797010698446)

Just use small jubilee clamps to hold it on.

Got there in the end :happy2:

Not to be the bearer of bad news but iirc that hose isn't sold seperately, you have to get the full servo piping that includes the hose.

So bizzare...

Mum came over to visit today and brought with her the forge box that has my original rev C DV as it was in the out house gathering dust.
In the box was the original hose. It seams they didn't cut it up!

Can you get me the rest of the part no. that's on that pipe. I'm wondering if it comes up on it's own as it isn't listed on it's own :happy2:

It can indeed be ordered on it's own as well

Bizzare the PN wasn't listed in the last diagram

Only listed on its own as part of the 2007 Q7.  Strange.
