Title: recommend a polishing machine
Post by: nezquick on January 13, 2012, 08:59:04 pm: can someone recommend a good polishing machine that can polish and wax. (dont mind buying seperate attachments) for under 100 pounds?

preferably a double handed one.. not like those crappy 12v cigarette lighter ones from halfords.

Post by: Daffy on January 14, 2012, 11:34:50 am: Its a personal thing but I would not recommend using one for wax. It is not really what they are meant for although you can I think it actually takes longer and is more of a faff to use a machine for waxing.

Post by: keith on January 15, 2012, 11:43:00 am: If its for occassional use 2-3 times ayear then the DAS6 its the cheapest out of them. You can pay the extra and get the Pro model but if its 2-3 times a year then I doubt you will see the benefit. I have the normal version and use mine all the time. I would advise though check if you get the bag free as some may charge extra for it.

also on another subject. what snowfoam would you recommend? iv seen a lot of "cherry snow foam" beinf offered on eb but wonder what it would be like.

I had a go on my friends wax buffer machine (you know what i mean) and I didnt actually like it, I found it left a lot of marks from the dried wax around so think I will just wax by hand and save that effort.

and http://www.meguiars.co.uk/ are 1 of the best companies you can use for polish and wax
