I like that type of shopping, the one where the goods arrive before you have to pay for them.
We expect pics as soon as they are done please. :happy2:

Dont worry Caz, my misses looks at me like i have just ran over the cat, every time i get excited about goodies arriving.
Just keep laying them out in front of the telly while Eastender's is on, this also adds to the atmosphere i have found.
When are they planned to be installed.

NOOOOOOOOOO
Wouldn't look the greatest in my opinion, stick to diamond black :happy2:

what about just the front part of the font splitter???
i know i bought a black car, but am just thinking it needs some colour somewhere.. its not like your gti's that have silver on the bumpers round the reg plate area...
-
the centre part of the front splitter would look ok in silver.
-
agree, the front middle in silver but the rest black
maybe some subtle silver stripes along the doors?
-
Please don't go the silver route.
Id get the skirts body colour, the rear body colour apart from the exhaust cut out area, and the same with the front, ie the detachable splitter unpainted. (hope that makes sense!)
Could always introduce colour via the mirror covers?

Go evil like I did on my 140 GT

-
ooo,.. yeah i like that Mr Cheery..
My friend has just had somthing done similar by ecosse on her 207...
-
i think if you coded the skirts and splitter, but left the center in silver on the splitter then tie it in with some silver door stripes it would look trick as fook
-
hold on.. doesnt the ford 300 have doo stripes like that!
i cant look like a ford! :surprised:
we need to think on this mr cheery..lol
-
it's just an example
-
ok, cause im still on this subject (arguing in my mind.lol) ... was thinking, what about putting silver mesh in instead of black! yay? noo silly girl? maybes...? lol

well if you want your nice mk5 to look like a corsa/saxo parked outside halfrauds (which there always seems to be, no matter which shop you visit) then go ahead :happy2:

....Methinks that Caz might be female!

You don't need to do dramatic things to cars to make them look good, drop and stance, plus subtle changes win every time.
Silver paint on grills will never look right, then also chip and look shoddy, buy some R-Line grilles! (as in pic of mine I posted) sexy and different, and gives the grilles a bit of depth. :happy2:
-
ok ok, im gonna give up on the silver thing..lol ... promise.. :innocent:
-
it's only our views though caz, if it floats your boat then go for it... it's your car so you can style it however it makes you happy
would look cheap though, most mods tend to suit the car the more OEM styled that they are, stray from the path of this theory too hard and things start sticking out like sore thumbs :happy2:
-
i know Mr Cheery.. and i welcome any thoughts and opinions.. :happy2:
I was having doubts myself, but think u just need that extra megative vote to make you believe it.lol
with the kit iv got being quite sutle, thats the lines i wanna keep along, as, i am trading it in in a year and a bit..
