Title: FOGLIGHT HELP PLEASE!!!
Post by: Wikki on January 15, 2012, 05:02:36 pm
Hi I needed help to identify the folight bulb. I have a mk5 Golf tdi but with a GTI Kit on it so the foglights are already in the bumper, They just need to be wired up and bulbs added so before I order the harnesses I thought Id ask. Am I correct to think its the H1 fitment?

most probably H11 but best bet is to see if you have projector ('fish eye') or reflector style fogs, the projectors use H11 and i *think* the reflectors use H9...im sure someone will be along shortly to correct!

The reflectors use hb4's :)

What he said. Checked mine to see what they were and they are indeed hb4/9006.

I have checked the net and ebay and mainly the bulbs which go in the foglight are the Hb4s and H11 bulbs. So abit confused I might just pop down the local shop and just check which one fits. also what do you mean by reflector fog?

you need the H11 bulbs on the top one and h9 on the bottom

hope thats cleared up your issue.

If you want some h9 bulbs i have some yellow ones for £17.00 with p&p (where 19.00 p&p) as i made a mistake when ordering.
