Title: Train sets
Post by: markymark on January 15, 2012, 06:47:52 pm
I think I must be getting old, but since getting my scalextric out of the loft I've found myself looking at Hornby Train Sets. Anyone know anything about them, have one etc?
Just reliving part of my childhood as I still have my old Lima Intercity 125, but quite fancy a new set!

Someone at work is into train sets. He still takes his washing to his mums on the weekend.

Thats all i need to say on this matter. Have a word with yourself.

Haha, the old stereotype still lives on then!
I did think I was having a midlife crisis even thinking about it but I haven't taken the plunge yet!

I went to the National Railway Museum in December and they also sell some Hornby ltd edition models. Not cheap at over £150 just for the engine. Much better playing with the real thing though Mark. :happy2:

Yeah I was up there a few years ago, had great fun! Brought back childhood memories of being there and being like a rabbit caught in the headlights, I didn't know which way to turn first! :happy2:
