Does anyone have any idea why the first split second of each song isn't playing when my iPod is connected to the MDI?
The songs are dead on on the computer, but for some reason it doesnt play the first note while in the car.
Also, not car related but on the topic of iPods; I've filtered the songs in alphabetical order in iTunes under the playlists when the iPod is connected, then clicked sync. However, the songs arent in alphabetical order in the playlists on the iPod itself when I disconnect it and scroll through it.
Any ideas?

your songs as such will be in it's own order. be it artist, length etc. You could look at that?
Never look at it myself.
I have had the same problem with my MDI kit I had. I ended up installing a firmware upgrade.
It seemed to fix it.
I still have the issue, that the name update list, be it from the IPod or Radio. Don't always update in time. So the track name could be almost 3-4 songs out.

Do you mean you have the issue of the start of the song not playing?
How do you update the firmware of the MDI?
With regards to song order when the iPod is connected to iTunes I've sorted the songs alphabetically, but when I disconnect it the songs aren't in alphabetical order as they should be.
