Hi all,
I'm looking to reduce wheel hop in first and second gears which is apparant with standard power, let alone stage 1. I've read the product review threads for both the ECS dogbone insert and the Vibratecnics mount, but I can't decide which is best for me. The ECS dogbone insert is only £30 compared to the £112 for the Vibratechnics mount, and it's also a lot easier and quicker to fit.
Is the Vibratechnics mount really worth the extra money?? Or will the ECS / Neuspeed dogbone insert be sufficient?
Thanks :happy2:

I have the ECS version on my stage2+ ed30 which works fine for me.

Bump

I had Powerflex dogbone insert, and when it was new, I had no wheel hop. But after a few months it settled and on wet surface wheel hop was back.
Now I have HPA mount (http://hpamotorsports.com/mounts.htm) and is way harder and shifting is much better. And yes, absolutely no wheel hop!
I'm now stage 1.

I also have a powerflex insert. Wheel hop was improved but still present. I find the wheel hop so annouying and was hoping this would solve it. I also want to eliminate this. Does lowering the car help at all?

Whats involved in changing the engine mount completely?? Also what does the car drive like in normal conditions with the complete mount?? As I really want to illiminate the hopping.
Cheers.

And made a massive improvement, and i fitted them.. im not that mechanically minded. No wheel hop now.

yeah i saw that and at the time i got the THS mounts for £200 so decided just to go the whole hog!

Bump, any more opinions?
ECS/Neuspeed £30ish
THS £50-£60ish
Vibratechnics £110-£130ish
As said, I don't mind spending the extra money on the THS or Vibratechnics, but only if it's worth it?

You've missed the bsh and VF versions from your list...
