I think that really like red mirrors  :signLOL:

FWIW, my initial reaction was that you need more red to make it work.  The JCW looked OK because of the roof and, to a lesser extent, the bonnet stripes.
The Golf only had the calipers and a slither of red around the grille as accents.   I think it needs more - perhaps on the wheels?
But - ETTO and all that.  I should admit that my car's only mod is a replacement bottle opener!

Thin yellow stripe on mirror housing will give that a nice touch :happy2:

needs more red and ideally up top somehow. I think it will be tricky to pull it off so I will go with no don't do it.  Maybe if the wing mirror was somehow edged in red and not the whole thing and maybe a thin line of red down the rubbing strip ?

Overall I think the lines of the golf don't lend themselves to it in the same way was the mini

Yes, I also think that's poor in red to do it, but I'm excited by the look because I thought that look awful.

I will wait for more opinions  :happy2:

I quite like the first picture... its something a bit different  :happy2: 
You could just get them vinyl wrapped and if you go off it  :sick:.... just peel it off!

Don't like the look myself, too much red.  I would go for a more subtle styling such as what Mad_Pete mentioned above, some thinner stripes.

yeah looks like u broke a mirror and got one out a scrappy and fitted it till u get it painted.

now that looks evil not keen on the red lip, but think for red on black, if done subtle it wil look the nuts!
