well as i been on here for a few days now, i have been looking around at everyones mk5, im getting ideas in my head! not a good thing as its going to cost even more, so here is alittle about the car,

bought it from vw in huddersfield price £10,000, with 5 years free servicers and MOT with parts n labour, TOP DEAL!
its a standard mk5 GT TDI with clasick alloys 17" with brand new tyres, will with coloured bands around, the car has lots of miles as it was owned my the garage for a dealers show car! came with soooo much paper work! lol. it came with the black front gill but its chaned to silver now as it looks better. interia, has full leather seats, front heated, read windows tinted,

this is day day i got it, i took it home and swapped the front grill over. im not looking for a short number plate as im not over keen on the long number plate on it.

1, ~~monza alloys~~
2, lower her on coilovers
3, rear of car with the GTI look, ~~bumber, exhaust~~ and lights
4, ~~updating head unit to the one with built in satnav~~
5, highline clocks
6, multi funvtion steering wheel
7, smaller arial
8, projector hid headlights

long list cant remember every thing

Not high mileage at all really for a diesel. I do long to get 50mpg out of my GTI, never going to happen though.

That font isn't UK legal dude. Looks more like a show plates. They do look awesome though, if only plod would let us use them.

Just because you bought them from Dubmeister does not mean they are legal. they dont even look close to being legal font. :happy2:

Post by: Gazman1011 on June 05, 2012, 04:11:19 pm: not much has gone on, but i have managed to get hold og a gti back box thanks to lee aka Gtiain, and managed to find a cheap find on ebay for a rear bumper, looks so much batter i managed to fit it myself, not much problem, while i was at it i got some now exhaust supports, when i have time ill take the whole exhaust off, fit a new gasket and clean up the exhaust. the bumper has been sent away for spraying and i will post a pic of it sprayed when i have it back. i been cleaning it quite alot to, getting ready for the shows, and a few stickers.

can i get cd changer and ipod dock running in parrallel? or is it one or other? i seen a 6cd changer on here £45 delivered! so ill get that, also do you know if i can get the reverse camera to work with the mfd2?

Post by: Gazman1011 on July 19, 2012, 08:32:37 pm: hi all, a few more pics of work going on, finaly the rear bumper is fitted, and a top job has been done, so went to fuelled society show in wakefield and puut it on his stand.
the front grill will be smoothed properly when im away as im getting the alloys refurbed and a few other bits done.
