I bought a new set of mats last week and I've only just realised that my car is actually missing one of the round mat posts that allow you to secure the mat to the floor.
I've searched high and low throughout the internet for part numbers but I'm not sure if the part numbers are for oval clips or round ones.
I think it's 3D0 864 851 71N but don't know if thats right
They do a similar thing on eBay, but I want genuine VW ones without the philips head on top. Cause I'm a picky bar steward:

If anyone can shed some light on this it would be great
Thanks

Hi
I got some mats from these guys off ebay they came with round fixings and oval fixings. I only needed the oval fixings, but threw away the round ones :( Might be worth sending them an email see if they have round ones available.

Thank Callis, I'll give them an e-mail.
182_BLUE, thats the correct bit, but I need them with the round clip, that's the oval clip. Perhaps the part number is very similar for the round clip and oval clip?
Thanks

Genuine ones from the dealer only cost a few pence.

Was just hoping to get a part number so I can ring up with it as I won't get any chance to get to the parts desk with work.

Looks like the oval ones screw in... The round ones you need to take the carpet up...

Ah really, gonna be a bigger job than I thought...

Well on the ones i have there a bit under the carpet that the top section clamps down onto and cuts a circle of carpet out... allowing the under carpet bit come up through and the top bit snap on to it...
