Hi guys..
Am i correct in saying that the GTI and the GT TDI are the same ride height.. 15mm Lower than standard? Or is the GT TDI not as much as the GTI? Ive got 35mm H&R's and i'm thinking about going back to standard on my GT TDI as the springs i have aren't really for the GT's.. only for the standard golfs.
Mines a 2004 GT TDI btw.
Any help would be appreciated.

I think not all GT's have the same ride height, I am under the impression the GT sport has the 15mm lowered ride height whereas the GT is higher. I could be wqrong? My 2006 GT sits quite high with 17" alloys. I am going to drop mine by 20mm (Eibach sportslines) which should give the look I am after.

Thanks for the reply.. i was under the impression that all the GT's had a lower stance.. might just leave my 35mm in until i can get a good replacement set then :rolleye:

The 2.0 tdi's had sports suspension with a 15mm drop over standard, not sure if it's the same set up as the GTI though. The diesel is a heavier lump so I'm pretty sure it will different over the petrol models

Does anyone know if I should go for Eibach Pro or Sportlines?

I would change the shocks too, mine bottoms out over bumpy roads at speeds, I have Sportlines
