Title: New member from Wakefield, W.Yorks
Post by: Boothy on April 23, 2009, 07:11:21 pm
Howdy people!

I'm not really a Golf owner. Not yet anyway. Sold my Type-R last week after months of wanting to own a Mk5 GTi so the money is sat in the bank waiting for the right car. As soon as I find one I'll be buzzin but I've had no joy so far.
Been on a few MKV sites but this is the one I always come back to. Seems like a nice bunch of like minded people giving out sound advice.
I'll post some picks when I finally find my new motor!

Ta very much.

Welcome from another W. Yorkie  :drinking:

What spec GTI you looking at...Year/Mileage etc and people can keep an eye out for you.

Noticed these had 2 in today, not sure if they of any interest or are listed on Autotrader or PH

Sorry about the user name.....its been with me for years and years!

I'm looking for a 3dr, leather (heated), 18" Monza's, Xenons with less than 40k. Any colour other than red or silver as I've just got rid of a red motor and although I like silver, it just doesn't shine like I want when I've buffed the hell out of it.

Got about 11k to spend which will leave me some money left over for the wheels and Revo but if the muts nuts turns up I'd be tempted to spend a little more though. The spec isn't written in stone either. Just want a really well looked after one.

I really really like that dark blue but they seem rarer than rocking horse droppings?

If anyone does see anything let me know.

Cheers.

Hello & Welcome… Stay away from the edge  :happy2:

Thorpe edge?

Good advice they have a particular set of skills down that neck of the woods...they can remove wheels while in motion.
