Title: Wonky steering wheel.
Post by: swgti on January 26, 2012, 04:49:43 pm
I've had to get the tracking sorted a couple of times recently due to a couple of different issues but now I've been left with a steering wheel that doesnt quite sit at quarter to three when in a straight line. Now the tracking seems to be fine and there's no pulling but while driving straight its now out enough to see the left hand stalk completely while hiding the right hand one, probably if you were to put it into clock terms the big hand is at 8mins and the little hand at 43mins (making sense), it's starting to really bug me so wondering if there's a quick fix to sort this or is straightening it up a big job?

Cheers!   :driver:

Yes, take it back to whoever tracked it up and this time get them to do the job correctly!!

I'd take it back. Failing that potholes may help correct it if you hit them right  :signLOL:

I have had exactly the same problem mate took it back twice n they told me it was spot on so I got it done by a different company n it was way out and was the rear causing the problem not front so don't assume it's a tracking issue get four wheel alignment  :happy2:
