Well, I have been on the look out for some "cheap" R32 / ED 30 side skirts, and I finally bought these:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320832865827?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
But one of the sides has a lug missing from what looks like the rear....wonder if I should have give them a miss?
Will they not be able to fix ot the car properly? :ashamed:
thoughts appreciated.

not sure what the quality of the fixing would be like to be honest. But notice how he puts the pictures of the missing clip and coments about it after its been listed for a while. He rekons he didnt notice it

lol yeah I bought them....
I will have to have a look at them when I pick them up....but still unsure if the slightly damaged one will be compromised regarding proper fitment.

Might not be an issue.
My votex sideskirts are bonded on and dont have any screws in place & they've done a brilliant job. A good body shop would be able to bond yours on too imo.
At that price its worth a gamble. You can take them to a couple of bodyshops, get their opinions and they can either bond them, repair the lug or cut your losses and flog them on for similar money
:happy2:

So it was you who beat me to these lol.
I did wonder the same but have known people to bond them on

sorry :innocent: the 8 second bid rule was in full effect !! :happy2:
I understand they are bonded (sticky strips 1K0853543 STRIP X 1 & 1K0853544 STRIP X 1 ) and also screws / bolts -WHT000188 BOLT X 20 & 1K0853493 ADAPTOR X 4 - although I don't know what these adaptors are for?
Anyone?

You should be OK. I replaced my standard GTI skirts with a set of R32 ones which had the same lug missing on one side. They are fine without, as all the other fixings will hold it on. The back of the skirt will have a bit of movement if you push it, but it will be OK! :happy2:
