				All,
As some of you know I have the pre-heater system on my MK5 GT. Anyway, finally got everthing sorted and the new telestart fob.
Now, I had to change the batteries in the fob as they have been dead for ages (previous owner) I now need to know 'How do I code' or get the fob to regonise my car? is there a sequence to press of something?
cheers ALL  :happy2:

i'd imagine your dealer would be able to help - they don't normally charge for things like this

			-
The manual should tell you how to code keys in/out of the system.

Dealer < wants me to book it in, charging me the normal rate(s) £60 an hour!
Manual < Does not have this in believe it or not.
Spoken to VW UK and they are sending me one out free of charge which is cool, but cold take 6-8 weeks lol
Spoke to the previous owner today, he gave me some good tips.
1) has to have min of 15% fuel in to work. (my car is full anyway)
2) temp < it will only work at certain temp (he not sure what that is)
Otherwise press it, sit back and hey presto.....

I also found this after many hours of searching google............
Half was down the page there is a section ref: aux heather. It seems to say IF you try to start it, but is fails it can become LOCKED and will need re-opeinging. Think this maybe the case? or am I reading this wrong?
