After spending hours colour coding my engine cover i just realised would the clear coat be flammable as i suppose its under high temperature  :scared:

Should be fine, doesnt get hot enough to cause an issue with fire. Paint Might go a little soft though.

I've just used normal paint on mine (non high temp) and seems to be fine. :smiley:

will be fine mate, the fire hazard is more than likely when its being sprayed rather than when its dried mate

I painted and lacquered the engine cover on swmbo's GT a few months ago and its still fine....... :happy2:
