As above been thinking about one of these but not sure if it's worth it looks. I want somthing fairly quiet Is the only issue.
Currently have a stage 2+ with carbonio but now i want a little more power so looking at a new intake
-
If you want a quite intake the BSH is a very good option.
I have one on my car and you get a nice growl at higher revs but none of the daft noises that can make other intakes tiresome on the TFSI motor. They are there but very subtle.
Performance wise they are very good also. The build quality is not fantastic and the stubby pipe that the DV recirc pipe routes to is at a noddy angle. But that said I'm very happy with mine and wouldn't swap it for any other intake.
-
how would you rate the performance gains? can you feel a good difference?
I'm at stage 1 with a cat back and panel filter and an intake would be my next upgrade but don't want a noisy one and don't really like the look of the carbonio
-
Performance wise they are on a par with any other intake. BSH use them with their 500bhp WOA Turbo kit.
On votex there were back to back graphs when one chap swapped from a BSH to a Twintake and lost 5hp. Another guy did the same and gained similar amounts.

Mine gives a goosing sound on a k03, its embarrassing when overtaking so i run stock. I believe it doesn't happen on k04 with the DV relocated.
-
Forgot to mention mine is a I octavia vrs
