Post by: suave on January 30, 2012, 08:18:17 am
Folks

Could i get some help please - am buying a cambelt kit for my 05 GTI and the guy has asked me if i have the "BLR" or "AXX" engine/model.

Does this sound right - anyone know which?? Would he know if i took the car too him to buy the kit?

Thanks

Meady

If you were interested in buying and getting fitted by an indy you can buy the kit in belfast for £97.00. TFSI_Mike put me onto it. They also do a swap (with yours) for a recon water pump - both total at £128.50.

Not sure how you would get it to GB though but decent price to consider??
