				Morning everyone,

I had a forum favourite's car in over the weekend for a 15% privacy film to be added to the rear 3 windows.

I've added a few pictures below to give a good idea of what window film can look like if done properly  :happy2:

I'll let the pics do the talking,

 Nick  :drinking:

Nick, have you got any close up photos of the rear window?

I want mine tinted, but I've always been put off by the border that you often see, and the finish over the heated screen lines.

How much do you charge for a 5 door Golf?

 Hi Andrew

Due to the nature of the dot matrix round the window there is usually a border as you say. It's due to the dots raising the tint film off the glass.

After a few days of drying, the border can be mostly pressed out, removing the border.

I'm just @ work at the moment, so I'll upload the pictures of my rear glass when I'm home and pm you with a price.

Is the 15% similar to the OEM privacy glass for the rear?

-
Looks good Nick - presumably the film doesn't effect the heating elements in any way?

-
				Looks great Nick  :happy2:

 Please could I have a price on a 3dr?

 Cheers

It is mate yes. I stock lots of other tint shades too incase you'd prefer lighter or darker. (But this is my favourite  :innocent:)

has someone had a bad experience with window tinting?
-
				Sorry?

-
				Sorry?

you mentioned "when its done properly" so wondered if there is a company to avoid.
-
I've seen loads of examples of poor window tinting, hence my questions above. Could be down to poor workmanship, poor materials etc.

-
Yeah Andrew hit the nail on the head.  :happy2:

It wasn't particually a pop at anyone in particular  :innocent:  Materials make a tremendous difference to the finish.
-
				Where are yous based mate
