Morning peeps.
As you know I don't yet have my MKV but when I do I have set a little aside for some nice wheels. The thing i can't decide on is the size. 18" look nice but 19" even better!
Whats the crack with putting 19's on? What tyre sizes should I be using etc?
What I really want is to put 19's on it without having to drop it or roll the arches or do anything really. Is it possible to do this without the car looking like its in stilts and if so what size tyre should I be looking at?
The rim I fancy is a TSW Croft if that helps.
Cheers.

yoiu need the correct offset alloy to start with, but 19's will fit, the tyre would need to be 225-35-19 (you may even get away with 235), one thing to note is that IMO 19's will look odd unless the car is lowered , also IMO the handling will be compromised a bit

Sorry to sound dumb but what's IMO?
If a 19" will affect the handling negatively am I better sticking with 18's and saving some pennies?

IMO= in my opinion
It depends on what you are after. Would you rather compromise looks for performance or visa versa and there lies your answer

Another thing to consider is that if you have a budget then you will get a better tyre in 18" than 19" because the set-up will be cheaper :happy2:

235/35 are the tyres you want on the correct off set rim - same as the BBS CH 026 I think it is (like I have) :happy2:
