Title: Gutted engine light on! Any ideas!

Hi Guys,

Was driving today and car pulling as normal and the engine light came up. It drives totally normal. It's stage 2 car 265 bhp dynoed. Mind you I didn't replace diverted valve and question is if that's it would car drive as normal or the power would be lower. Also would the engine light come up? Thinking of replacing diverted valve anyway.

Any ideas??

If the DV has a tear then you would be down on power for sure  :happy2:

I don't think the engine light would come on for a torn DV

You need to get it scanned with VCDS  :happy2:

get it checked with vcds that will pull up all fault code for you

Where abouts are you? Is it still running as normal now?
