Hmmm... Well... Im only 18 years old... playing with cars that will destroy me if something goes wrong. I know the capabilities of my rotary and I used to use it... But I have found a combination of polishs that work just as well by hand as the rotary gives...
Its more effort but in the big scheme of things I dont need the extra risk. If I used the rotary I would have to raise my price further for insurance....
Why change if the results Im getting at the moment are as good as I used to if not better.

true true mate. fair enough, its a risky business with a rotary.
Ive never found hand polishing to be up to the correction job on most modern paints.
-
Fully agreed.
Im happy to use the rotary on a BMW, or a golf.
But on a car that was imported from Germany, sprayed in a limited edition colour and body... haha na.... ratha not risk it haha
-
totally mike! ;)
-
Have you tried the Chemical guys polishes JPC?
Mike
-
nope i havent mate. which ones are you thinking of? there Final polish?
I tend to stick with 3M now to be honest, or menzerna if that doesnt sort me out
-
I havnt used 3M or Menzerna yet...So still gotta try that..
Im talking about the Pro Cut Polish. The one I used.
Their dressing (O New Car Dressings) and Leather Treatments are awesome.

3M and menzerna are my "staple" polishes to be honest. ive been using them for years and its a rare occurance for me not to use them. i know how they work, if it aint broke, dont fix it!
-
How about a DA polisher? Better than by hand but not as risky as a rotary?
You must have hulk-sized arms by now!
-
HAHA!
I have a proper Rotary... Just this one car I didnt feel like risking it... And no... My arms are actually small :embarrassed: :innocent:
