Title: Ipod Connector with Iphone & sat Nav

I am looking to add an ipoid connector to my car. I use my Iphone for sat nav and am wondering if anyone knows that if I am playing music from the phone through that adaptor that I can still use the sat nav or Snooper apps on my phone?
