With the imminent snow & a trip to scotland coming up next weekend, got me thinking, is there anything you can do to protect your splitter?
Might be a really stupid question but with the tracks in the snow and ice & slush pushed to the middle im abit concerned for the well being of my splitter! Especially now my car has been lowered.
Has anyone ever used the film you can get to prevent stone chips? Or even tape as temporary messure?

I guess it was a daft question :ashamed:
It made a good snow plough ths morning :scared:

Put some nice thick tape on for the journey. Cant see it doing any damage when you remove it.
-
Thanks :happy2:
I'm probably being overly paranoid but the thought of sharp ice crashing into my splitter
-
Go see a vehicle warping specialist, they can get a clear wrap for the splitter, front bumper and wings of you want that much protection, then remove it when you wish ;)
-
You could take it off for the journey?
-

Bit of a ball ache but a good idea non the less :happy2:

Cheers :happy2:
I'll have to look in to this

either cover it in some of the blue 3m masking tape (not a good look but does the job) or buy some clear plastidip that wont show as bad as the blue tape.

I screwed up my coilover.
Wrap your splitter with cheap Gaffa tape and remove it when your' back home.
You won't really see the black tape on a dirty car.
-
Just take it off :happy2:
Shouldn't take you longer than 5mins.
